About this machine
Blyss WDH-316DB 16L Dehumidifier
This is Lakeside's customer-facing operating and safety guide. It is deliberately focused on safe use, quick checks and fault reporting — not internal servicing, dismantling or repair.
We strongly recommend reading this before using the machine. It is guidance, not another checkout tick-box. The Hire Agreement still requires safe use and following the instructions supplied with your hire.
Before you start.
- Check the machine and supplied kit match what Lakeside handed over.
- Check for obvious damage, missing guards/covers, damaged cables/hoses or anything that looks wrong.
- Use the PPE supplied or advised for this hire.
- Keep other people, children and pets clear of the work area where relevant.
- If anything appears unsafe or unfamiliar, do not guess — contact Lakeside before starting.
PPE / safety kit.
No separate PPE is currently listed in this machine's canonical handover manifest. Normal task-appropriate clothing and safe working practice still apply.
Quick start.
The exact model-specific starting/operating sequence will only be published here after Lakeside has checked it against the manufacturer's customer instructions for the exact machine. We will not make up controls, fuel procedures, switch positions or operating steps.
⚠ STOP & REPORT — repairs are LHH only.
- Stop using the machine immediately if it becomes unsafe, behaves unusually, loses a guard, develops an electrical/fuel leak, abnormal vibration/noise, smoke, overheating or a fault you cannot safely resolve using the published customer guide.
- Switch off and isolate/unplug the machine where it is safe to do so.
- Do not remove covers or guards, dismantle the machine, bypass safety devices, service it, modify it or attempt an internal repair.
- Do not follow third-party repair videos while the machine is on hire.
- Contact Lakeside promptly and tell us what happened. Early fault reporting helps prevent secondary damage, keeps repair costs down and gets equipment safely back into service sooner.
- If Lakeside asks for the machine back, stop using it and return it for inspection.
During use.
- Use the machine only for its intended task and within the customer operating guidance supplied.
- Never defeat a guard, interlock or safety feature to keep a job going.
- Stop if the job, surface, weather, environment or machine condition makes continued use unsafe.
Before return.
- Switch off and make the machine safe for transport.
- Return all accessories, PPE and supplied components with it.
- Return it reasonably clean and tell Lakeside about any fault, damage or unusual behaviour — even if the machine still appears to work.
