Lakeside Handy Hire is being built to make useful equipment easier to access across the South Lakes and Furness, without confusing processes, unclear pricing or equipment being handed over without support.

Why Lakeside exists

Useful equipment. Without the usual hassle.

Plenty of jobs need equipment that people do not want to buy, store and maintain permanently. Lakeside is being designed around making those occasional jobs simpler.

A practical idea, built into a proper business.

Lakeside began with a straightforward idea: people regularly need equipment for gardens, cleaning, DIY and repairs, but buying the item often makes little sense for a single job.

The aim is not simply to hand over tools. Each hire should include clear information, recorded checks, sensible terms and practical support so customers know what they are receiving and how to use it.

The launch range will start carefully and grow as suitable equipment is purchased, tested and added to the system. The focus is on building something reliable rather than rushing to look larger than it really is.
