Use equipment properly

Safety First.

Every hire includes clear guidance, equipment checks and safety information. Customers must use suitable PPE, follow instructions and stop immediately if something does not feel right.

Do not use equipment you are unsure about If you do not understand the instructions, required PPE or safe operating method, stop and contact Lakeside before continuing.
Essential rules

Safe use starts before the machine does.

Basic checks and good judgement prevent most avoidable problems.

Keep a clear area

Use only as intended

Never modify equipment, remove guards or use attachments that have not been supplied or approved.

Stop when unsure

Strange noises, vibration, smoke, overheating or unexpected operation means stop immediately and contact Lakeside.

Personal protection

Exact PPE requirements vary by item and will be shown in the hire guidance.

Eye protection

Protect against dust, debris, splashes and flying fragments.

Hearing protection
